 AKA lord Farquaad

I heard the silence woven into the story you’ve carried for years.
I felt the words that instilled fear and the echoes hidden beneath your tears.
A child was told to silence her voice as grown-up shadows filled the room,
Yet beneath that silence, a melody persisted, refusing to lose its tune.

You were never what they labeled you,
Never what they tried to shape you into.
There was something deeper within,
Something they could never take away.

Let the silence shatter,
Let the old walls tremble.
Let the truth rise gently like the dawn after rain.
Let the shame dissolve,
Let your true voice resonate.
What they attempted to bury never truly vanished.

You transformed yourself to navigate through years of confusion,
Searching for a place within where you could finally stand firm.
A decade passed beneath a mirror, asking unspoken questions,
Until faith became a doorway and a deeper truth emerged.

There was still a little girl inside,
Waiting somewhere in the light,
Not asking for the past to disappear,
Only yearning to be seen tonight.

Let the silence shatter,
Let the old walls tremble.
Let the truth rise gently like the dawn after rain.
Let the shame dissolve,
Let your true voice resonate.
What they attempted to bury never truly vanished.

You bore more than anyone should,
Carrying burdens that were never yours.
You carried the darkness of others
Through countless locked and silent doors.

Yet courage has a peculiar way
Of blossoming where pain has been.
Sometimes, finding your own voice
Means finally allowing yourself to begin.

I cannot alter the years behind you,
I cannot erase the scars.
But I can tell you what I see now:
There is still light shining in those eyes.

No label can define you,
No accusation can claim your soul.
No family silence can dictate
What makes a broken story whole.

Let the silence shatter,
Let the old walls tremble.
Let the truth rise gently like the dawn after rain.
Let the shame dissolve,
Let your true voice resonate.
What they attempted to bury never truly vanished.

You discovered a path through faith and memory,
Finding a reason to release.
Not forgetting what was taken,
But uncovering what remained beneath.

The past may always hold a chapter,
But it does not wield the pen.
There is life beyond the darkness,
There is a voice beyond what once was.

So speak when you need to speak,
Stay quiet when you seek peace.
Walk away from those who wound you,
And let the weight inside you cease.

The child who was once silenced
Is not forgotten in the woman standing here.
And every step toward freedom
Makes the old house disappear.

Let the silence shatter,
Let the old walls tremble.
Inside that house, silence learned to speak.
Behind closed doors, a child grew both strong and weak.
Words became walls, and fear took a name,
While every watching eye pretended nothing changed.

A little voice beneath the floor
Kept knocking on a locked door,
Through every year and every lie,
Something within refused to die.

The silence shatters,
The silence bends,
A buried voice rises once again.
No more shame,
No borrowed name,
What was once hidden steps into the flame.

Years passed like fleeting photographs,
Faces changed, but memories lingered.
A mirror waited through the years,
Holding questions beneath the tears.

A different shape, a different path,
A heavier heart, a borrowed load.
Ten years searching for a place
Where something true could meet your face.

Then faith became a distant light,
A hand reaching through endless night,
Not to erase what came before,
But to uncover the self behind the door.

The silence shatters,
The silence bends,
A buried voice rises once again.
No more shame,
No borrowed name,
What was once hidden steps into the flame.

Quiet questions explored silent corners,
While courage carried countless broken chains
Toward clearer mornings and calmer hearts,
Beyond the walls of fear.

The courtroom closed another door,
But truth rang louder than before.
Some chose darkness, some chose lies,
Yet something brighter learned to rise.

No need to carry what was never yours,
No need to live under another's sign.
The past can speak but cannot reign;
A scar can remain without becoming a chain.

The silence shatters,
The silence bends,
A buried voice rises once again.
No more shame,
No borrowed name,
What was once hidden steps into the flame.

The child remains beneath the years,<br

Lead Guitar · Fallout GroundZero
AKA: Lord Farquaad of Luxembourg

Born in Luxembourg on 20 August 2003, Sanne Cambers is the lead guitarist of Fallout GroundZero — although describing him simply as a guitarist leaves out a considerable amount of the story.

During the week, Sanne works as a qualified automotive mechanic, dealing with modern engines, electronics, diagnostics and the endless collection of mechanical problems that somehow become someone else's emergency five minutes before closing time. He is trained in both mechanical repair and electronic diagnostics, and has built his working life around figuring out why machines refuse to behave.

Which, in hindsight, makes his choice of musical career rather appropriate.

Because Sanne has always had a complicated relationship with t

THE BEGINNING — AGE 7

Sanne started playing guitar at the age of seven.

At first, it was an old country-and-western guitar. A perfectly respectable beginning, and probably the sort of thing that gives adults the comforting impression that a child is developing a wholesome musical hobby.

That phase did not last.

It wasn't long before Sanne discovered that a guitar could do considerably more than politely play country music. He wanted distortion. He wanted volume. He wanted the guitar to sound less like something you'd find beside a campfire and more like something that might make the neighbours reconsider their life choices.

The direction was set.

FROM COUNTRY & WESTERN TO DISTORTION

Over the years, the clean tones disappeared and the distortion took over.

For Sanne, the guitar was never simply about playing the right notes. It became about sound, attitude and the physical presence of an electric guitar turned up properly.

There is a certain inevitability to it. Give a seven-year-old a guitar and eventually he may learn music.

Give Sanne a guitar and apparently the next logical step is to find out how much amplifier the room can survive.

FALLOUT GROUNDZERO

As the lead guitarist of Fallout GroundZero, Sanne holds a prominent position that leaves little room for anonymity. Alongside Ilana, whose powerful high notes elevate their sound, they create a robust foundation for the band.

The lead guitar must pierce through the noise, bear the melodic weight when needed, and deliver captivating performances when the volume rises and all eyes are on them.

In addition to their musical prowess, the synergy between band members plays a crucial role in their dynamic. Sanne and Ilana share a deep musical connection that allows them to seamlessly blend their styles, creating an electrifying atmosphere during live shows. This chemistry not only enhances their performances but also resonates with their audience, making each concert an unforgettable experience filled with energy and passion.

HELEEN

Beyond the guitars, engines, and the vibrant life of the band, there exists Heleen.

Sanne and Heleen's bond has flourished since their primary school days, making their relationship one of the most enduring aspects of his life—far surpassing the lifespan of most guitars, cars, and even several mechanical warranties.

While Fallout GroundZero may bring the noise, Heleen symbolizes something entirely different: stability.

Throughout the years filled with growth, music, work, and all that life entails, she has remained an integral part of Sanne's journey.

While it may appear glamorous from the audience's perspective, the reality involves countless hours of rehearsals, performances, and the constant presence of a guitar slung over your shoulder.

There is also the less romantic side of being a musician: repetition, pressure, creative fatigue and the simple fact that playing music does not automatically pay the bills.

For Sanne, however, music remains part of who he is.

And fortunately, when the guitar doesn't pay the rent, there is always the other machine.

Another critical aspect of a musician's life is the need for constant adaptation and growth. The music industry is ever-evolving, with trends shifting rapidly and new technologies emerging that change how music is created and consumed.

Musicians must not only hone their craft but also stay informed about industry developments, social media marketing, and audience engagement strategies to maintain relevance and connect with their fans.

THE MAN BEHIND THE GUITAR

Away from the spotlight, Sanne has little interest in playing the rock star.

He’s a mechanic, a guitarist, and a familiar face in the community—someone who hasn’t quite discovered his passion for organized sports.

Instead, he has embraced the more hands-on pursuit of dismantling old machinery.

Whether this qualifies as a hobby or simply reflects an irresistible attraction to broken things is open to interpretation.

Sanne is also a regular at his local pub, where he enjoys a pint after work, shares captivating stories, and engages in conversations that seem to grow more impressive with each retelling.

This isn’t meant as a criticism.

It’s simply how local legends come to life.

Beyond his mechanical pursuits and pub tales, Sanne has recently taken an interest in community gardening. He finds solace in nurturing plants and connecting with neighbors, transforming a neglected patch of land into a vibrant space filled with flowers and vegetables. This new venture not only allows him to cultivate life but also fosters a sense of camaraderie, as he collaborates with others who share his passion for the earth and its bounty.

CARS, ENGINES & OTHER MECHANICAL PROBLEMS

In addition to his hands-on skills, Sanne is passionate about educating others on vehicle maintenance.

He believes that knowledge is power, and by sharing insights on routine checks, proper care, and the importance of timely repairs, he empowers car owners to take better care of their vehicles.

Through workshops and online content, Sanne aims to demystify automotive care, helping individuals understand their vehicles better and make informed decisions.

THE CITROËN H1 PROJECT

Then came the Citroën H1.

At some point, Sanne found an old H1 and decided that owning one broken machine at work apparently wasn't enough.

The plan is to bring the van back to life and turn it into something worthy of Fallout GroundZero — a band vehicle with actual character rather than another anonymous modern transporter.

The H1 is old, imperfect and considerably more complicated than simply turning the key and driving away.

Which makes it a perfect match.

The band will eventually arrive in the H1 instead of a Ford Transporter, because according to the philosophy behind the project, modern technology may be faster, quieter and more practical, but it doesn't necessarily have soul.

The H1 has history.

It has scars.

It has mechanical problems.

And, most importantly, it has character.

Sanne understands all three.

Embracing the Journey of Restoration

The restoration of the Citroën H1 is not just about fixing a vehicle; it’s about embracing the journey and the stories that come with it. Each dent and rust spot tells a tale of its past, and as Sanne works on the van, she discovers the joy of reviving something that has been neglected. This process transforms the H1 into a symbol of resilience and creativity, representing the band's commitment to authenticity in a world filled with disposable options. The journey of restoration becomes a parallel to the band's own evolution, as they pour their hearts into both their music and this beloved machine.

The Community Connection

As the restoration of the H1 progresses, it has begun to draw attention from the local community. Neighbors and fellow enthusiasts stop by to lend a hand or share their own stories of vintage vehicles. This collaboration fosters a sense of belonging and camaraderie, turning the project into a communal endeavor. The band’s journey with the H1 becomes more than just a personal quest; it evolves into a shared experience that strengthens ties within the community, showcasing how passion can unite people from different walks of life around a common goal. Through this collective effort, the H1 not only gains new life but also becomes a beacon of connection and inspiration for those who encounter it.

THE LOCAL LEGEND

Some musicians achieve fame, while others become infamous.

Then there are those who simply become the guy everyone knows at the pub.

Sanne falls squarely into this latter category.

After a long day at work, he finds solace in his local pub. A pint in hand, he shares stories and engages in lively discussions about cars, guitars, or whatever mechanical mishap has recently caught his attention.

He doesn’t need a stadium to connect with an audience.

Sometimes, just four friends gathered around a table is all it takes.

Sanne bought the bike second-hand after getting his motorcycle licence. Four years later, he still rides whenever he gets the chance. He especially loves long, aimless rides with her riding along — helmet on, obviously, because that's the rule — just the two of them and the road ahead..

LUXEMBOURG

Sanne's journey is deeply intertwined with Luxembourg.

Though small in size, this country boasts a remarkably diverse cultural landscape. Rock, metal, alternative, and gothic influences thrive amidst a multilingual backdrop where Dutch, English, French, and German seamlessly blend into daily life.

This vibrant environment is a perfect match for Sanne.

He works in a technical field, plays electric guitar with passion, navigates multiple languages, and dedicates his leisure time to music, machinery, and socializing.

It's hardly the blueprint for a quiet existence.

But then again, no one ever promised him one.

SANNE — THE EVIDENCE SPEAKS

Sanne  picked up a country-and-western guitar at the age of seven.

As time passed, country music transformed into distortion.

Distortion evolved into lead guitar.

Lead guitar ultimately led to the formation of Fallout GroundZero.

Throughout this journey, Sanne also became a qualified mechanic, built a life with Heleen, established himself as a familiar face in his local pub, and decided that restoring an old Citroën H1 was a perfectly reasonable way to spend his free time

And when he finally gets some free time, he goes home to work on another machine.

At least he is consistent.

Sanne Cambers — mechanic, guitarist, local legend, and the man apparently determined to prove that nothing is ever truly beyond repair.

Except perhaps the neighbours' hearing.

THE ART OF PERFORMANCE

Sanne's journey is not just about mastering the guitar; it's also about the electrifying performances that bring his music to life. Each gig is a culmination of years of practice, passion, and a deep connection with his audience. With every strum, he channels his experiences, inviting listeners into his world. The energy of the crowd fuels his creativity, transforming every show into a unique experience that resonates long after the final note. This artistry on stage is what sets Sanne apart, making him not just a musician, but a storyteller who captivates hearts and minds.
