Fallout GroundZero - Kyiv Live Concert Planning
Fallout GroundZero is currently in discussions with the management of Freedom Hall in Kyiv regarding a potential new live concert. With a growing and dedicated fanbase in Ukraine, the band is exploring the possibility of bringing the Fallout GroundZero live experience directly to Kyiv as a message of solidarity, music and connection.
The team has been in extensive contact with venue management while carefully assessing current conditions, venue safety and the practical requirements of organizing an international live production in Kyiv. Safety remains the absolute priority, and the event will only proceed if conditions and official assessments allow it.
Production planning is already underway. A previously arranged 18-metre trailer and tractor unit unfortunately cancelled at the last moment, creating an additional logistical challenge. Fallout GroundZero is now looking for a suitable replacement transport solution that can support the production within a realistic budget.
The target period is December 2026, with the exact concert date still to be confirmed. If the necessary production, transport and safety arrangements can be secured, Fallout GroundZero intends to make the journey and bring the live show to Kyiv.

Harold van der Sluis â LNK-Records / FixedRecords
Harold van der Sluis is the owner of LNK-Records, formerly known as
FixedRecords, an independent record label based in Groningen, the Netherlands.
His involvement in the Dutch music scene began in 1987 when he worked at the
legendary Browershoeck, a venue where many internationally recognised artists
made some of their first appearances in the Netherlands.
Harold developed his experience in music and event organisation through work
with Gorilla Records and events connected to the hardcore and alternative
music scene, including Frozenland and Psy-Fi activities in Leeuwarden.
He also worked together with Cafe Mukkes and people involved with Waldrock,
an important name in the Dutch live music scene.
After moving to Groningen, Harold founded FixedRecords, an independent label
that later evolved into LNK-Records. One of the concepts developed through
the label was Dirtydub, a hybrid musical approach combining elements of emo,
punk and dubstep into a distinctive sound.
Through Dirtydub, Harold worked with Ilana Desya Volkov, who joined the project
at a young age. Ilana used her songwriting and vocal performances excellent bassist to address subjects including violence against women, children, men and animals, femicide, cyberbullying and the protection of vulnerable people. Dismantle group 764.
Ilana had limited experience at the beginning of the project but possessed
a powerful and distinctive vocal character. After several promising tracks
and difficulties with an earlier backing project, Harold working as Sound Engineer for some famous bands like Like Roses collaborating with bands like Like Roses, Nuse, Counting Crows, The Cure, Kc's Choice, Hot Mulligan, brought Ilana together with skilled musicians who would eventually form Fallout GroundZero.
The collaboration became an important step in Ilana's development as a
performer and artist, leading to live performances and recorded projects
including Fallout GroundZero live material and Fallout GroundZero â Live in Tilburg: Unplugged.
Tilburg became an important location for the development of the Fallout
GroundZero Double-Bill concept. The idea combines a raw live metal
performance with a complete acoustic unplugged performance, giving the
audience two contrasting interpretations of the band's music during
the same live project.
The acoustic performances were designed as full musical performances rather
than short promotional appearances, with the audience supporting the live
recording project through participation and engagement.
Following a period of development, Fallout GroundZero resumed its focus on
future live performances in the Netherlands, Germany and Switzerland.
Further international plans are being considered as the project develops.

Fallout GroundZero is an independent global rock band that has existed for approximately three years. The project was founded by LNK-Records, initially bringing Ilana Desya Volkov, known as a solo Dirty Dubstep artist, together with a small and relatively unknown band rooted in metal. Fallout GroundZero has continued to evolve through international collaboration, including the recent addition of Lara Steinberg from Belgrade as a background harmony vocalist. Ilana Desya Volkov is known within the band for writing its lyrics and developing a cinematic approach to songwriting, using music to explore diverse subjects including identity and self-acceptance, gender and equality, relationships and love, personal struggle, and opposition to war and violence.
Musically, Fallout GroundZero combines powerful bass lines, aggressive yet expressive lead guitar, layered vocals, and emotional dynamics. Ilana Desya Volkov's bass playing provides a strong rhythmic foundation while the guitar work of Sanne Cambers adds intensity, contrast, and melodic aggression. Together, the members create a sound positioned between emotional rock, alternative rock, emo, punk, and modern metal.
Following a number of smaller live performances, Fallout GroundZero developed its Double-Bill concept: a powerful metal performance followed by a free unplugged session for the audience. The concept allows the same emotional material to be experienced in two contrasting forms, from amplified metal intensity to intimate acoustic arrangements.
The band also develops its music across international borders through its Audio Integrity System. Instrumental and vocal stems can be securely contributed by collaborators from different countries and assembled by the band's sound engineer into the final composition. The project describes its system as using blockchain-based timestamps and secured audio stems to document and protect creative contributions throughout the production process.
Fallout GroundZero's approach combines international collaboration, human musicianship, cinematic songwriting, heavy music, acoustic performance, and experimental approaches to remote music production. The band continues to develop its identity while working toward a broader international presence within its genre.

Fallout GroundZero is an international emotional rock / emo rock project
centered around singer, songwriter, bassist and frontwoman Ilana Desya Volkov.
Ilana is based in the Netherlands and is a central creative voice of the project.
Her music combines cinematic rock, heavy bass-driven arrangements, layered
vocals and emotionally direct songwriting. Recurring themes include identity,
self-acceptance, equality, relationships, opposition to war, anti-violence
and helping people who are unhoused.
Ilana writes predominantly in English, reflecting the international character
of Fallout GroundZero and its collaborations with musicians from different
countries. Her musical influences include Type O Negative, Linkin Park and Tool.
Ilana is a vocalist and bassist. Her favorite bass is the Marcus Miller M6H
5-string. Other instruments associated with her include an Ibanez SR306EB-WK
6-string, Yamaha TRBX304 5-string, Esh Stinger Bass and an Ilumina B37.5
Rhodolite extended-range instrument.
Fallout GroundZero is developing a dedicated Fallout bunker studio outside
the city. The planned facility is intended for professional recording,
vocals, bass, drums, guitars, cinematic production and future live sessions,
with sound isolation designed to reduce disturbance to nearby residents.
Fallout GroundZero is also exploring a potential live concert at Freedom Hall
in Kyiv in December 2026. The exact date has not yet been announced.
Discussions with venue management are ongoing and the concert will only proceed
if safety, official assessments, production and transportation requirements
can be secured.
